Delivery
Gauteng:
Great Idea Bedding online provides delivery throughout Gauteng. Orders will be charged a R350 delivery fee (subject to change depending on fuel prices). This will automatically be reflected at Checkout.
Other Areas:
Delivery outside Gauteng is by courier and takes up to 10 business days. If you live outside of Gauteng, please contact Great Idea Bedding to see if we can deliver to your area, and for the cost and lead time of the delivery.
Delivery Timing Gauteng:
Products will typically be delivered within 5 to 10 business days of order.
Some products and unusual sizes (such as ¾ XL and Double XL) are made to order, and delivery may sometimes extend over the 10 business days.
Custom size mattresses take an average of 5 to 7 business days to manufacture. At the point of sale, the lead time required for a specific custom mattress will be advised.
Headboards and some furniture are made to order as fabric and colour are selected by the customer. Please allow 10 business days for fulfillment of this order.
If the stock is not available for some reason, or there is a delay beyond the control of Great Idea Bedding, we will advise as soon as we are aware of this delay.

Removal of Old Beds and Installation of New:
On (prior) request, the Great Idea Bedding delivery team can remove your old bed.
The team is not authorised or insured to move any furniture. Please do not request the team to move items to accommodate your new bed as any damages will not be covered.
In apartment blocks without (sufficient) elevator access, the delivery team will only carry a product up 1 flight of stairs. If more is required, arrangements must be made prior to delivery and will incur an additional cost.
COVID Protocols:
All Covid protocols will be followed as per all / any of the regulations in place at the time. In the instance of a customer being in quarantine / isolation, the product will be left at the front door. Thank you for your understanding.
